FAQ

Q: How long does it take orders to ship?

A: Orders ship out from our facility in 1-2 business days.

Q: Do you ship internationally?

A: We do not ship internationally. We ship to 48 major states, excluding Hawaii and Alaska. Please email us at wholesale@petique.com if you are a distributor or wholesaler who can ship our products outside of the 48 major states and internationally.

Q: Do you ship to P.O boxes?

A: No. We completely understand your concern with getting your package stolen, as we are too. Our systems currently do not have the option to deliver to PO Boxes. We’ll need a residential address in the U.S. 

The good news is, to make sure your package will not get stolen or missing, contact FedEx once you receive your tracking number and ask them to hold your package at your nearest FedEx location for you to pick up. We also encourage you to register for FedEx Delivery Manager to keep track of your package.

Q: What makes your products non-toxic?

A: We work closely with manufactures who apply safety standards at their manufacturing facilities, their procedures, and the products they produce. The materials that make our products are sent out to inspection and testing facilities to ensure there are no harmful chemicals, so we can move forward  with creating non-toxic pet products that are safe for pets to travel in, sleep in, and play with. Pets and people have all been affected by harmful chemicals from the lack of knowledge we had in the past regarding toxins. We want to make a difference by developing and providing our world with safe, non-toxic pet products to have in the household.

Q: What is your return policy?

A: You and your pet’s satisfaction are our number one priority at Petique, Inc. We want your time with us to be a PAWsitive one. If things don’t go according to plan, we are here to help!

Returns are eligible within 30 days of the purchase date. Your item must be unused in the same condition as you received it. It must be returned in the original packaging including all stickers and inserts. Merchandise returned not in the received original condition and packaging may result in a restocking fee of 25% percent or may not qualify for a refund.

Returns are not accepted after 30 days unless it’s a manufacturing defect.

If your item has a manufacture damage or defect that was not caused by you or your pet, we will pay for the return shipping costs. Shipping costs are non-refundable. Please reach out to us immediately at info@petique.com with photos and stop the use of the product if that is the case.

Once we receive your return, please allow 7-14 business days for processing. Refunds can only be given to the same credit card the purchase was made on.

All refunds and exchanges are subject to the final approval of our quality control division.

Sale items are not eligible for returns or exchanges.

Q: What is your cancellation policy?

A: Only order cancellations and changes within 2 hours of order placement are guaranteed. After that, depending on how far along your order fulfillment is, we may not be able to make any updates or changes.

If you need to change any detail or cancel your order, contact us as soon as possible.

If you need to cancel your order after it has already shipped, we will charge a fee equal to 15% of the order value to cover associated shipping costs and redirect fees.

If you need to change the shipping address after your order has shipped, we will charge a redirection fee that is subject to change depending on the location.



Q: How do I keep track of my order?

Q: I'm afraid my package will get stolen. What do I do?

A: Once you receive your FedEx tracking number from us, you immediately call FedEx and ask them to leave it at your nearest FedEx location for you to pick up. Q: My order never arrived?

A: Please email us at info@petique.com with your order number and the date of purchase. We will assist you on locating your order. You will also need to contact FedEx as soon as you can regarding your order.

Q: Are my orders traceable?

A: Yes, you will receive an order confirmation and tracking number to the email address you provided during checkout. Should you not receive your order confirmation or tracking number, be sure to check your "Spam" or "Junk Mail" folder.)

Q: What is PLA?

A: Polylactic Acid. Our PLA Pet Dishes do not stain. They are made out of plant based material and completely biodegradable and safe for the planet! PLA derives from renewable resources such as cornstarch, tapioca roots, chips or starch, or sugarcane.


Q: How long does it take a PLA bowl to biodegrade in a compost pile?

A: 6-12 months depending on the temperature.


Q: Since a PLA bowl is made from either corn starch or sugar cane, can an animal taste either corn or sugar when licking the bowl?

A: No. Our PLA also does not stain. The plant based material also prevents cats from getting chin pimples when they eat or drink from the bowl!

Q: Why are Petique, Inc.'s cardboard cat houses and eco-houses for small animal the best?

Q: Why do some of your products have the Prop 65 warning?

A: Although some of our products are required to have the Prop 65 warning, our products have been tested to have no harmful chemicals.

"Prop 65 requires businesses selling products in California to give customer a "clear and reasonable warning" that chemicals in their products may contain substance known to the state of California to cause, birth defects, or reproductive harm.

Prop 65 is a California disclosure law, not a safety standard. The law is NOT a national standard for health or safety. The Prop 65 law requires businesses to provide these warnings to Californians to be able to sell anywhere in California."

 

Q: Are your materials waterproof or fire retardant?

A: Our products are not waterproof or flame retardant because that would require chemicals to make materials waterproof or flame retardant which means the material will be more toxic. The more chemicals used, the more toxic.

 

Q: Can I use discount codes/coupons on everything?

A: Discount codes do not work on sale or bundle items. Coupon codes and affiliate link discounts ONLY work on full priced items.
