Hack #1: Brushing Your Pets Teeth

Should I brush my pet's teeth? YES! Brushing your dog's teeth daily is ideal. Without brushing, plaque can build up, which puts your dog at risk for bad breath, gum disease and tooth decay! Not brushing your dog's teeth can also lead to painful infections that can spread and cause life-threatening conditions.

The bristles we use are from boar's hair. It has natural anti-bacterial aspects compared to nylon bristles used in regular plastic toothbrushes. The coarseness of the boar's hair also helps clean off plaque build up to prevent gingivitis.

There are two different sizes of toothbrushes to fit in both a small or large pet. NEVER use human toothpaste on your pet. You want to use a vet recommended toothpaste. It may be difficult for your pet to get into the habit of brushing their teeth but you can reward them with a dental treat after. Remember, consistency is key.

Hack #2: Beauty Hacks

Besides brushing your pet's teeth or teeth in general, toothbrushes are also a great tool for personal grooming! You can do a variety of things such as brushing your eyebrows for a feathered brow look, use hair gel or hair styling products to tame flyaways, comb your mustache or beard, etc. The possibilities are endless!

Hack #3: Grooming Your Pets

Did you know that if you wet the bristles on your toothbrush and brush your cat's head it reminds them of when they were a baby and had their mom licking them? How sweet is that? You can also use toothbrushes to groom your pets nails to help remove those hard to reach dirt particles, so you can be rest assured that your pet's paws will be nice and clean while they roam around the house. If you have a small animal, such as a gerbil or rabbit, you can use a fine toothbrush to open up their hairs and allow their skin to breathe again.

Hack #5: Exfoliating

One best way to remove dead skin is to use a toothbrush. Flaky lips? Make your lips smooth by applying a balm over your lips and then exfoliating away any dead skin with your toothbrush. You can also quickly exfoliate your hands with some coconut oil! The list goes on!
