We love using oats when we make dog treats because oats are a great alternative carbohydrate for dogs that may be sensitive to wheat or grains. Oats contain vitamin B, which helps maintain a healthy coat and keeps your dog's skin strong and healthy. It's also a great source of fiber, making it great for dogs with bowel irregularity issues. Make sure the oats are cooked before serving to your pets. 

Pumpkin is a nutrient rich food that is low in calories and pack with essential vitamins and minerals. It contains a lot of potassium which helps regulate blood pressure, improves muscle health and assists your dog's metabolism. Pumpkin is great for your dog's eye, health, skin, digestion and helps expel parasites.

Banana is a great source of potassium, magnesium, vitamin C, vitamin B6, fiber, biotin and copper. They help boost the immune system, replenish electrolytes, and promote skin and health.

Ingredients:

• 3 cup oat flour
• 1 cup pumpkin puree
• 1 banana
• 2 eggs

Instructions:

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. If you don't have oat flour, you can just blend oats until they become a fine powder. Mix occasionally.
3. Combine pumpkin puree, eggs and banana. Mix until fully combined.
4. Gradually mix in oat flour into your wet mixture. Mix until fully combined.
5. Lightly flour a flat surface, to prevent dough from sticking, and roll out dough to one quarter inch.
6. Cut shapes out of dough and place on prepared baking sheet. We used coconut oil cooking spray!
7. Bake for 20 minutes.
8. Let treats completely cool down before serving to your pets.
